If You Want to Study With Us
If you are a prospective student who wants to carry out a research project with us, or have a member of this group as a supervisor, you should contact your supervisor well in advance of the start of the project. Your proposed research will ideally fit closely with the interests of your potential supervisor. The Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience is a multidisciplinary research centre, and so you will normally be registered with a UCL department (e.g. Psychology, Anatomy). If you are thinking about applying to do a PhD with us, you will need to apply via a UCL department. For instance, if your background is in psychology, you would apply in the first instance to that department, details of which are on the UCL Psychology website. We have limited availability for students each year, and competition for places is very tough.
Potential PhD students should contact Dr Paul Burgess before nominating a member of the Executive Functions Group as a potential supervisor in an application.
