Current Research and Interests

I am currently investigating the cognitive and neural mechanisms that underlie the sense of agency. My research focuses on the role of prospective information related to action selection processes in the experience of agency. Additionally, I am exploring how these cues are integrated with retrospective cues related to the monitoring of action outcomes. For this, I use a combination of behavioural studies with electrophysiology (ERPs) and neuroimaging (fMRI). My PhD is part of an international research network focused on "mechanisms of conscious and unconscious learning". More details can be found on the network's website (see above link: 'Home Page').
