Current Research and InterestsMy interest focuses on numerical cognition, parietal lobe functions and their role in numerical and magnitude representation, response selection, cognitive control and prefrontal functions, and the neurocognitive mechanisms of synaesthesia and possible connections with cross-modal interaction and awareness. In order to study these areas I am using fMRI, ERP, and TMS, including behavioural methods with normal subjects and special populations (individuals with synaesthesia, developmental dyscalculia). |
